Objeto del contrato: Contrato FPI (Formación de Personal Investigador) dentro del proyecto “Interacción Ubicua Basada en la mirada para dispositivos móviles TIN 2014-52897-R”.
El objeto del contrato es la realización de una tesis doctoral sobre el desarrollo de algoritmos para estimación de la mirada sobre dispositivos móviles como teléfonos o tabletas en entornos variables.
Titulación: Ing. Informático, Ing. Telecomunicación o similar.
Requisitos:

Estar matriculado o en disposición de ser admitido en un programa de doctorado para el curso 2015-16 a la firma del contrato.

A PhD position is available in the Gaze Interaction Group at Public University of Navarre (Spain). The group research focus are on gaze estimation and eye tracking, combining eye-head tracking for Human Computer Interaction (HCI) for mobile devices. To this end, gaze estimation algorithms will be combined with accurate head pose estimation techniques. The group has 20 years’ experience in this field. Both, local and international collaboration as well as the necessary infrastructure and materials are available in the lab. Candidates must have a strong demonstrated interest in computer vision and human computer interaction. Programming skills in Matlab, C++, Android will be welcome. Head Pose Database is now available (Demo)

Our new Head Pose Database is now available. At this moment, you can download a demo version containing 7 out of the 120 videos that compose the complete database. The full database will be available in a few weeks, after publishing the paper relative to this database.
